CORRIB looks attractive only a few pounds higher than her last win here towards the end of July. The second has franked the form by winning twice since then and although Corrib didn't perform quite as well with third on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton, returning to the turf she can take this race. The handicapper still appears to have the better of Under Fire although he is respected on the pick of his ability. Farncombe has only ever won on the all-weather but an improved placed performance at Lingfield is encouraging. However the winner has since disappointed and a line is drawn through Farncombe. Corrib gets the nod.
