In depth

Verdict

An absolute nightmare of a race from a punting perspective can go to Collada, who is selected over the in-form City General and Danifah, who spearhead the challenge from the rest. There are numerous other to have a look at though and the likes of Pappy, whose yard does well here, and Fleet Anchor, an unexposed individual that is worth a try at the trip, are worth noting in the betting at likely long odds. Whereas Dane Rhapsody steps up to a more appropriate distance and could go close after an eye-catching handicap debut last time. Hi Darl is yet another lightly raced sort that makes the journey south for some further experience tonight. However, she does have to conclusively prove that she has trained on and may be best watched. A similar comment may be the best policy to employ when assessing Danifah, whose latest start hardly advertised that her turn to win is near. City General, on the other hand, finally came good on a number of promising efforts and should go close despite his 6lb penalty. However, his overall profile does not smack of a horse that is capable of running up a sequence and he too may find one too good. Which could well be Collada, who is related to several high-class performers that would have not need much training to come out of retirement to eat this lot for breakfast. Colada is obviously not the most eye-catching individual that has ever passed through the door of Juddmonte Farms. But she will be expected to pick up a race like this if she is to have any sort of future at the paddocks.
