Verdict

This race has cut up quite badly and it looks like a good opportunity for Henry Cecil's Fancy Affair to score her first success at the expense of Glencoyle and Condoleeza. She was fifth in a Newbury maiden on her debut 91 days ago and the second from that race has since been placed in Group 3 company. The step up to 12 furlongs should present no problems and she can score here. Of her opponents, Glencoyle has bits of form but has been disappointing overall, including in first-time blinkers last time, while Condoleeza has been even more disappointing. They both look booked for place money but Fancy Affair should claim the winner's rug.
