keen, race close 3rd, ridden approaching 1f out, ran on to go 2nd 1f out
made all, pushed out final furlong
slowly into stride, green and always struggling in rear, tailed off
tracked leader, hard ridden over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
A poor contested maiden with only the four runners namely Tryandstopme, Be Like A Lion, Golden Chica and Bridal Path with the confident vote going the last named. Bridal Path has had four runs to date and is improving with experience. His last effort was an eye catching third of eight at Musselburgh and if anywhere near that form today will win this with ease. Of his rivals Tryandstopme looks to be the biggest danger having had some good placed form earlier on in the season but has since been a touch frustrating. Newcomers Be Like A Lion and Golden Chica will both come on for the experience but are both worth noting in the market. But for the winner we return to Bridal Path.
