At first glance this looks a competitive race but FLOWER HAVEN could be thrown in and gets the vote to score from Festival Dreams, Bring It On Home and Lansdowne Princess. Victor Dartnall's charge won nicely enough on Monday, in the process landing a real gamble, and escapes a penalty for that success here. In actual fact he gets to run off a pound lower as he was out of the weights that day and providing the horse can put together two similarly good runs in five days he should take all the beating. He'd had an outing in a point-to-point prior to winning last time so, despite the fact he hadn't run under rules since 2008 before that, the bounce factor isn't expected to be an issue. Festival Dreams is solid and should run well once more having taken second last time. He's at his best on good ground and doesn't look handicapped out of this as he remains on the same mark as last time, so he could lead home the rest ahead of Lansdowne Princess. She's another who remains on the same mark as she ran off last time and the easy winner that day has since franked the form, so this mare enters calculations too. Similar comments apply to Bring It On Home who also found just the one too good last time although perhaps this trip is a little on the sharp side for him. The Rustlin Rhino needs a market check as a handicap debutant for a top yard, Mylo has work to do with Festival Dreams and is now 12-years-old, Saint Espiegle needed every yard of this trip at Towcester so will need them to go a clip here whilst at a price Biscar Two could reward each-way backers with Robert Thornton a strong booking; he ran well over course and distance last time. This is tricky but FLOWER HAVEN could be a few pounds ahead of the assessor and it's he who gets the call.
