In depth

Verdict

Not many of the seven runners line up in form and it can safely be narrowed down to the trio Katie Buckers, Coastguard and Jolly Giant. The latter comes a bang-in-form yard, and having needed the outing on his return here two weeks ago, should improve. Katie Buckers scored on her bumper debut at Chepstow two years ago but only started to fulfill her potential this year. She won well enough at Uttoxeter on her last outing but the time was slow and she might not be the good thing she looks. Coastguard had struggled to get his head in front after a decent hurdles campaign early last year, but gained due reward for some fair efforts over fences when taking a class D event at Newbury on what was his final run of last term. He starts off on a fair mark considering that this is a lower grade contest and TEAMtalk reckon that Coastguard will start where he left off.
