A trappy race for punters but one in which Bobsleigh can upset likely favourites, Mouseski, Cantgeton and Artane Boys. Bobsleigh has had a few names called about him in the past but Stuart Howe's team are running well at the moment and at the likely odds, he should give us a run for our money. He ran a fair pipeopener on the level at Warwick against some progressive types and we will chance that he has come on for the run. Mouseski was rated 140+ over chase fences so has been put back over hurdles to take advantage of a favourable mark. Its no understatement to suggest that Nicholls did incredibly well with the ex-hunter chaser last year but he could be vulnerable to more speedily bred types. Cantgeton is a typical Martin Pipe horse. He is likely to be prominent throughout and will give another good account of himself here. Artane Boys has shown evidence that he gets the trip. He does not look the hardiest in a finish so may be best opposed on balance. Shalako appears the pick of the Hobbs pair on jockey bookings and is another to attempt to make hay off a lower hurdles mark. Nuit Sombre has been busy on the level and is likely to be run under enterprising tactics. Water King looks to have improved for the switch to Robert Stronge but has always been found wanting when upped in grade. Jockser has run well during the Summer and can make his presence felt while the ground is still relatively good. A difficult one for punters but Bobsleigh could be worth a speculative punt at big odds.
