A toughie for punters to finish off with and just a tentative vote goes to Carcinetto ahead of Imperium and Mountain Pass. David Evans' mare is consistent, in form and reliable. She acts on this quick ground and having decided that she likes this seven furlong trip, she can run another big race. Her saddle slipped when last seen so given that her third place was a very good effort and with Stephen Donohoe aboard (already won two on her), she gets the vote. Digital is a likeable old boy and with the stable firing in the winners he warrants plenty of respect although he is bets over six furlongs. Mountain Pass likes the quick ground and this reliable sort is another to consider along with Imperium who really needs to be produced on the line and will need the gaps to open. Moon Forest has won off a much higher mark in the past so must go close if back on song over his optimum trip, however Carcinetto is game and consistent and who could ask for more. She gets the nomination.
