Verdict

POCKET TOO won here and at Perth in April on soft ground and will be all the better for a recent pipe-opener on the Flat. He'll probably be a fairly short price in this handicap but looks the one to beat getting weight from largely out-of-form rivals. Ski Sunday and Cresswell Crusader may both need this and Kellystown Lad also returns from a lay-off but Old Way didn't fare badly in this grade at Stratford last time considering he was pulling for his head. He'll need to settle better here, however, if he's to stay the longer trip.
