In depth

Verdict

Trucker's Delight, Earth Planet and King Cyrus are the three to look at in what could turn out to0 be an informative bumper and Trucker's Delight is taken to shrug off a penalty. King Cyrus shaped well at Ludlow on his debut six months ago finishing a decent third, and although he has had a rest since, he can go well on similar ground and can put his experience to good use against several unraced types. Earth Planet is an interesting debutant from the Paul Nicholls camp and this Irish bred son of the Ascot Gold Cup winner Kayf Tara is clearly one of the pick of the champion's camp to be seen at this early stage. He can go well. Truckers Delight was hugely impressive when scoring at Stratford last time and despite shouldering a penalty here, Jonjo O'Neill's runner looks a classy recruit and can score again.
