Bahama Mama rates as good value to reverse the Goodwood form with Molcombe Stakes winner Enticing and edges a slender vote of confidence, while Hoh Mike and Elhamri are others that have claims on the best of their efforts but do come here having already faced several arduous tests this season. Elhamri was held by the selection when they met at York last month and will need to work hard if he is to make amends today. Having already won in excess of ¿120,000, the son of Noverre has been a credit to his connections and he can be expected to again give his all. However, as is the case with Hoh Mike (who has not gone on since his second in the Norfolk Stakes) his last couple of starts have created the impression that he may have had enough for the time being. Both are overlooked for win only purposes on this occasion. Enticing was outclassed in the her audacious bid to land the Nunthorpe and is better judged on her previous performances. The daughter of Pivotal is unbeaten in three starts against her own age group and comes here with a major chance of adding to her profile. She does, however, pick up a 3lb penalty for her exploits so far and faces another stiff test. Therefore, it can pay to stick with Bahama Mama - a very useful filly in her own right - as she appears to have the right constitution to raise her game once more. A Group Three success would be just rewards after a series of near misses and this stiff finish may just provide the key to an about turn in the fortunes of Jeremy Noseda's filly.
