Verdict

Paddy The Oscar is 5lb higher than when a beaten favourite in an amateurs' race at Plumpton last time and looks to have it all to do. Winged Crusader appears out of sorts but Donapollo won at Leicester last month and should make a bold bid to follow up. GENTLE GEORGE also won at Leicester 11 days ago and in better company. A useful hunter chaser, he has a good strike-rate under Rules and may be capable of scoring again.
