A wide open contest here with many in form rivals in opposition including Toulouse-Lautrec, Asparagus and It's Beyond Belief and the tentative vote goes to Asparagus. The ten-year-old was a good second last time out behind Kelrev and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat with conditions to suit.Toulouse-Lautrec rates the main danger he was a good second behind Ballybrophy last time and he still looks to be on a fair mark on his best form of last season. It's Beyond Belief is another that could go well he was a fair second behind Stand Easy last time and is still open to improvement as he is very lightly raced. Bramblehill Duke is another that could go well he was a good second behind Atlastaboy last time but although he is sure to run his race he looks to high in the weights to score. Of the remainder Swincombe was a fair second behind Coursing Run last time and remains on a fair mark while Ross Minster is sure to strip fitter here than when second behind Howdydoody last time out but for the winner we return to Asparagus
