Verdict

A good competitive field go to post for this listed race, with Bindaree, Stormez, Keen Leader and See More Business all on the shortlist, and we will side with the latter. This gelding from the Paul Nicholls yard is making his seasonal reappearance, but he goes well fresh and loves this track and is sure to be fighting it out at the finish. He seems to get better with age and although he has a difficult task on his plate at these weights, he might just be up to it. Stormez will be a big danger and he had a pipe opener at Cheltenham last month behind Shardam. He is sure to come on for that run, although he looks to be a little high in the weights at present. Keen Leader therefore could be the principle rival to our selection as he is a progressive sort, but he has disappointed at times with his jumping and is returning from a break here. Former Grand National winner Bindaree has obvious claims but he fell on his seasonal reappearance at Aintree and is not the most consistent, so is opposed for that reason. This is the highlight of the day's card and it looks a fascinating contest, but we will side with the ever popular See More Business.
