In depth

Verdict

This claiming hurdle can go the way of RAJAM; Rawaabet and Critical Stage rate as the main dangers. Keith Goldsworthy has got his string in sparkling form at present and his 10-year-old Rajam looks to have really a really solid chance here dropped into this lowly grade. He is fit from a recent spin on the level and he rates as the one they all have to beat. Rawaabet looks the main danger as he failed to get home over a slightly longer trip last time and he is another that is eased in grade. Critical Stage finished second in this grade last time but he is not the quickest and although he has a decent each-way chance, he may fare better over slightly further than this. Young Tot won well last time over the chase fences so it will be interesting to see how he gets on back over hurdles. This looks a good opportunity for Rajam who can provide his trainer with another winner.
