In depth

Verdict

This could be a potentially-informative bumper with several powerful yards represented. Flemenstide sets the standard on his victory at Exeter but will not find it easy under a penalty. Cousu Main found only one too good at Uttoxeter in the autumn and Waterloo Quay did likewise at Hereford five weeks ago. Monbeg Genius and Per Vino Veritas are well-bred individuals but Exmoor Express is already starting to look a little exposed. PARISIAN BLUE is a half-sister to the useful Livelovelaugh and cost £62,000 as a three-year-old Connections have had to be patient but a recent wind operation suggests any problems she may have had have been addressed.
