Much will depend upon the participation of AS DE FER, who won at Wincanton yesterday. He impressed when an easy Warwick winner before that and boasts strong credentials if able to produce his form on successive days. Drumshambo is tumbling down the weights, having been rated in the near-150s in late 2013, he's in here off just 117 and would trouble all if rediscovering some form. Moorlands Mist was unlucky not to score here last time and has indeed gone close the last twice at this venue, beaten under a length both times. However, those runs were over hurdles and he now reverts, somewhat surprisingly, to fences. If the selection is pulled out, the choice would be Pure Poteen, a course and distance winner with more to come if he can get his act fully together over fences.
