Better is expected from ROUGE ET BLANC this year and he's been found a soft race for his chasing debut. Green Belt Elite and Baseball Ted are two of the other leading candidates. The British career of Rouge Et Blanc started brightly when he chased home Trenchant in a juvenile hurdle at Warwick but he failed to build on that run in two subsequent starts. Connections are confident that they've found the key to him and, as a result, he makes some appeal on his chase bow in this company. Aheadofhistime is something of a course specialist but may be high enough in the weights for now which may also be the case with Amble Forge. Green Belt Elite is related to a winning chaser in France and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of his chance ahead of his chase bow as he didn't always look straightforwards. Baseball Ted ran a rare bad race in April but had been consistent prior to that and looks to hold leading claims in this company. Afistfullofpebbles has had one run for his current trainer, at this track over hurdles, and he's one to watch closely in the market but preference is for Rouge Et Blanc.
