Only raised 2lb, last month’s narrow Nottingham winner ST DUNSTAN could give John Quinn a quick double in what is a very ordinary contest, though he’s clearly been difficult to train. Maroc has been running well enough in slightly better company so can also get involved and Rahmah was just beaten over course and distance last summer, though has been racing over 1m4f lately. Ya Jammeel is still a maiden but lightly-raced and it would be no surprise if he picked up a similar handicap before the end of the year.
