Verdict
Give Em A Clump led until approaching the final furlong at Windsor last month and again only found one too good at Bath on Wednesday but Fran Berry rides stablemate LOPE DE LOOP. She’s been running poorly on the all-weather but showed ability last season on ground with some give, including here on debut, and first-time cheekpieces may help her settle. Grandma Tilly chased home the smart Dan’s Dream at Bath in March but disappointed on a return visit and was a beaten favourite back there on Wednesday in the race in which Give Em A Clump finished second. The market may tell us what to expect from the others.
