Verdict

This could prove a race to note for the future. Salt Rock impressed in landing his sole point-to-point in March and could be anything at this early stage. Manorbank hasn't been seen since making a winning debut for Sandy Thompson in a Kelso bumper well over a thousand days ago and now has a first start over timber and since joining Emma Lavelle. The market should prove a useful signpost after such an absence. Future Investment and Dreaming Diamond should have more to come but KNOWSLEY ROAD (NAP) and Libberty Hunter, both course winners, look the pair to focus upon. The Williams charge looks sure to win a race sooner or later after a good second here last time, but the penalised Nicholls contender has scored here the last twice and stayed this trip well when obliging tidily last month.
