Dual course winner Dancing Storm is interestingly handicapped whilst it would be no surprise to see course and distance winner Starstruck Peter go well but the lightly raced pair of Steely Bird and JASMENO may be of more interest with the latter tentatively preferred. Hughie Morrison's filly showed precious little on her first five starts but did show some improvement for the step up to ten furlongs at Bath when fitted with a tongue strap for the first time and may be able to build on that in this company. Steely Bird's handicap bow behind a progressive performer was not without promise and he's worth monitoring for support whilst the market may also point the way to the chances of Starstruck Peter who is 8lbs higher than when successful here at the start of July. Dancing Storm has gone well fresh in the past and is well treated but she does have something to prove at this trip whilst Mr Maximas, who ran with promise on his penultimate start, has to bounce back from a poor run. Suor Angelica has only had one run for a yard that isn't afraid to have a tilt at the ring and an eagle eye needs to be kept on her but the vote's awarded to Jasmeno.
