        Verdict

        This is not much better than a seller but CONNAUGHT WATER is only a speculative recommendation in a race where nothing makes any strong appeal. He hasn't been seen since a poor first effort in handicap company when quite nicely backed last September, having previously revealed glimmers of form in maiden starts. Dropped 4lb for that modest effort, he at least starts the new season off a very lowly mark and any market support would strengthen confidence. There's little between Coiste Bodhar and Intense Feeling on the form book based on their running in an April seller and both should be in the mix, although La Napoule may emerge as a bigger threat after showing initial all-weather promise. She's lightly-raced and Richard Hughes steps into the plate for the first time as she makes her debut on Turf.
