Three-year-old handicaps are tricky at this early stage of the season with form yet to settle down fully but ROCK OF DREAMS does enjoy a distinct fitness edge here over certain rivals after finishing a well-backed fourth at Beverley on his reappearance. He looked a little one-paced in the closing stages that day, indicating that this additional furlong will be to his liking off an unchanged mark. The Hannon duo of Hedge End and Star Code will also have benefited from first runs back with jockey bookings signposting the top weight as the stable preferred. Both are respected along with Flippant and Tullia, both of whom represent yards that have made a good start to the new campaign.
