Verdict

The once-useful Gauvain has been enjoying a new lease of life between the flags but whether he still has the vigour to jump around here is anybody's guess. Rockiteer rarely reproduces his best form away from his beloved Ludlow nowadays while Foundry Square has been disappointing so far this year. Fort George, Drom and Archie Boy are in the veteran's stage now while Tinelyra simply doesn't look good enough. CURRENT EVENT wasn't given a great ride here at The Festival and then unseated his rider at Aintree but this is a big drop in class. Neither ground nor trip will be a problem today and he should make his class tell.
