Beakstown may be 0-7 over fences but he’s been threatening to win a race like this. WHEN YOU’RE READY hasn’t done a lot wrong over fences so far and will handle this quicker surface. He’s a sound jumper and could be the value in this with Imperial Alcazar needing a stiffer test of stamina and Java Point unconvincing off 6lb lower at Ludlow. Kempton third Your Darling is not out of this, however, and Solo should be winning once the handicapper shows him some leniency but Goa Lil was probably a fortunate winner at Newbury 10 days ago. Oscar Elite doesn’t appear that well treated on his handicap debut.
