Verdict

The form from bumpers here is usually worth following and this contest is no exception. There are three previous winners in this and several who have already placed as well as a winning pointer. Betty's Tiara won at Stratford and has a mares’ allowance but she is also penalised as are Willsburg, a debut winner at Warwick, and The Kemble Brewer who scored at Huntingdon in April. Highway One O Five placed twice last season and Jackson Lamb was second at Roscommon in August. Soir De Gala is another open to improvement while Valgrand and Itseemslikeit could be useful recruits from the point-to-point circuit. Martin Plage won by 20 lengths between the flags in the spring but only two finished that day. Ballyvango’s fifth at Kempton may be decent form but Willie Mullins saddles newcomer CATCH YOURSELF ON. A half-brother to several useful winners on the Flat, the latter may have too much pace for these.
