Another small field here but competitive none the less and Per Amore, Duke Of Buckingham and Puntal are all sure to have their supporters and we will take a chance on the last named. The gelding from the Martin Pipe yard was affair hurdler at his best, he is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing bow and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat as he is receiving weight from his main rivals. Per Amore rates the main danger he was a good second behind Waterspray in a handicap hurdle last time and is another that is sure to be well schooled but he will struggle to give weight and a beating to the selection. Duke Of Buckingham at least has experience over fences and he has taken to them like a duck to water. He was a fair second behind Tacolino in a handicap chase last time and will find this grade easier but he does have a double penalty. Of the remainder Great Travel showed a modicum of ability over hurdles and it would be no surprise to see him improve over fences getting the weight for age allowances so he is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Puntal.
