Verdict

Beer Goggles caused a shock in the Long Distance Hurdle last time and no-one would begrudge the Woollacott family a happy ending to a traumatic week. Colin's Sister and WHOLESTONE were both behind at Newbury but the latter was back to his best in the Relkeel Hurdle here at the start of the month, leading on the bit to get the better of Agrapart and Colin's Sister. He has a terrific record around here and can win again. Finian's Oscar is a danger to all back over hurdles, though this will be his first try over 3m under Rules. The Worlds End won a Grade 1 as a novice and has been slowly coming to hand. He holds Thomas Campbell on Ascot running and the others are only handicappers.
