Ballela Boy made a few too many mistakes when just failing to hold off Close Shave over slightly shorter here a couple of weeks ago. That was his best run so far over fences and he should be thereabouts again but Art Of Synergy was beaten a bit too far to be regarded as a threat despite that being his chasing debut. Willie Mullins looks to hold the key to this with three entries. C'est Jersey beat his smart stable companion Battleford on his final start over timber at Punchestown in April and his pedigree suggests he should be even better over fences. Cap D'aubois made a very promising start over fences when just touched off by Death Duty at Tipperary but was then very disappointing over this course and distance, which wasn't his form. KEMBOY did very well over timber before an encouraging debut over the bigger obstacles here when chasing home Sutton Place with the remainder in another parish. That should have brought him on sufficiently to go one better.
