Verdict

The Butcher Said rattled up a four-timer in minor company on quicker ground at the start of the summer but this might be a more searching examination of his credentials. Macgiloney is fully exposed and also penalised while Noble Glance faces a very stiff task at the weights but chasers Ramses De Teillee and SOME CHAOS are both very interesting. The former is having a first run since his reins broke and he was pulled up in the Grand National but he’s placed in five of seven previous starts over timber. The latter has made giant strides over fences since last seen over hurdler, however, so gets a tentative vote.
