Antartica De Thaix has won her last three with the proverbial ton in hand but she’s never won on ground this quick. Magic Money is on an upward curve and makes a quick reappearance after rallying to beat Still Believing at Haydock on Saturday. She has a penalty but Harry Bannister’s claims accounts for half of the extra and it means she can run off her correct mark in this unlike Bagging Turf, Storming Strumpet and Timon's Tara. Briery Belle has been out of her depth here in recent races but she did win at this meeting last year over hurdles, though PLAISIR D’AMOUR is preferred today. Only five, she’s unusual for a French import in that she may actually be better on good ground or quicker and it’s to her credit that she’s managed to score on easy surfaces at Wetherby and Newbury this season.
