In depth

Verdict

FIRE FLYER was impressive when landing the spoils at Ascot on debut and he may be capable of bouncing back from a below-par showing at Newbury. Brechin Castle was fully anticipated in the market at Sedgefield on his debut under Rules and wasn't flattered by the decisive margin of victory. Moon Chime has picked up bumpers at Stratford and Worcester and appears to have been a very shrewd purchase by his handler. Diamond Dice was gambled ahead of his debut at Hereford and it would be no shock to see Jonjo O'Neill's charge go close despite today’s very obvious step up in class.
