Verdict

Last year’s Triumph Hurdle winner Defi Du Seuil makes his chasing debut having ran poorly the last twice over timber. Lalor was last seen winning a Grade 1 hurdle at Aintree in April and Richard Johnson stays loyal for the former’s first start over fences while Pingshou won the same event at Aintree in 2017 and also debuts over the larger obstacles. One For Billy ran out in a novice chase here last month and will need to improve further on his earlier winning form while smart hurdler Claimantakinforgan made a winning start over fences at Uttoxeter and should go well. But Paul Nicholls has won this six times in the last 10 years and DYNAMITE DOLLARS (NAP) produced an impressive round of jumping at Market Rasen on his chasing bow. He looks another strong contender for the Ditcheat trainer and gets the nod.
