Mtada Supreme beat a strong field of cross-country performers in this a year ago, his second victory over the banks course, so his most recent form over regulation fences should be ignored. His trainer has an enviable record in these events and has four other runners with Ballyboker Bridge, another dual course winner, likely to prove best. Willie Mullins introduces new blood to the cross-country scene in BALLYCASEY. Now approaching twelve, he's won eleven times in all and has been chasing the likes of Un De Sceaux, Our Duke and Min around for the past couple of years. If he takes to the track he'll be very difficult to beat. Full Cry is another attempting this discipline for the first time and he's younger than most with recent winning form to his credit so has to be considered. Alan Fleming wouldn't have many cross-country performers in his yard and Hurricane Darwin did well for his trainer last season, finishing runner-up to regular winner Josies Orders here in April.
