Earthmover paid the penalty for a couple of bad mistakes in the Foxhunter Chase last month and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to resume winning ways at the main expense of Mister Friday and Denvale. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these and at the age of seven is half the age of the selection. Caroline Bailey's gelding looked potentially useful when opening his rules account at Towcester last month and has to be respected. Tanager resumed winning ways back in a point-to-point having been pulled up in the Foxhunter previously and cannot be completely discounted. Master Jock has been in winning form between the flags but this looks tougher, while Althrey Dandy failed to fulfil the promise of his reappearance run when disappointing at Sandown last month and may be best watched at present. More solid claims are held by Mister Friday, who has won his last three starts, the latest of them in a hunter chase and the 10-year-old has an obvious chance but Earthmover has a tough of class about him and the 14-year-old is taken to resume winning ways at his favourite hunting ground.
