Verdict

Trappist Monk won three point-to-points and a hunter chase at Fontwell last season but was only sixth in this last year, behind Dandy Dan. Few will want to oppose PREMIER MAGIC as, though his win in the Hunters’ Chase at The Festival here in March may have been a shock, the form could not have worked out much better with the second winning the Champion Hunters Chase at Punchestown next time and the sixth landing the Foxhunters’ at Aintree. Rebel Dawn Rising has plenty of ability but his recent completion rate would be a worry over these stiff fences.
