Fondmort looked to be travelling like the winner when being brought down in the Robin Cook over course and distance last month and is taken to gain compensation today at the main expense of Le Passing and Kandjar D'Allier. The last mentioned was pulled up in the Hennessy last time but may be better judged by his reappearance third in the Paddy Power, form on which he holds solid claims. Mark Pitman's Too Forward has more to do off an 8lb higher mark than when scoring at Newbury last time, while Europa looks beatable judged by his run in the Robin Cook. Noisetine is open to further improvement and cannot be ruled out, while Redemption has the ability to take a hand but is unreliable. That is not the case with Fondmort, who is taken to gain another course success.
