      Verdict

      SHREWDNESS got her act together when scoring easily at Wolverhampton last time. An apprentice’s allowance negates a decent chunk of an 8lb rise and the Haggas filly can go in again. Birdcage Walk completed a double before disappointing at Nottingham last time but Gallic is weighted to reverse earlier running with the latter and makes more appeal. Maid For Life is down in class but steps up in trip while Plait remains out of sorts.
