        Verdict

        Rated 78, Protagonist sets the standard but it would be no surprise if several of these can better that in time including SUN CUISINE. The US-bred colt came up short over 7f at Yarmouth when heavily supported to make a winning debut. But today’s combination of longer trip, first-time headgear and change of surface should bring a much better effort and Charlie Appleby’s yard has won both previous renewals. Live Your Dream also represents Godolphin though Trumpet Man is preferred of the newcomers while Deverell, Vindicate and More Than A Prince represent powerful connections and are are all capable of posting improved efforts.
