Edge, five times a winner on Turf, has never scored on the all-weather but couldn't have gone much closer at Wolverhampton last time. Mans Not Trot had been beaten in a seller before a much better effort at Kempton where he was in the lead for a long way. That was only his fourth start so some progress can be anticipated. Hidden Stash finished tailed off here last time but that wasn't his form as he's won here in the past so the vote goes to SONG OF SUMMER. The Scottish raider hasn't had much experience on the all-weather but has generally been staying on over 7f on Turf recently and the assessor has given her a chance.
