A recent success at Haydock was Raising Sand’s fourth win in only eight starts, though he’s closely matched with Brigliadoro on earlier running at Ascot. Very Talented ran well to finish third in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket last month but LUSORY also sports the Godolphin colours and Charlie Appleby’s lightly-raced colt may well prove good enough having placed in a tougher handicap than this one at Doncaster last time. Banditry makes a quick reappearance having looked an unlucky loser at Doncaster when runner-up to Laurence four days ago with Beardwood back in sixth while Haalan and Mithqaal can also be given a chance in a competitive handicap.
