      Verdict

      Listed winner Mehmento has no easy task handicapping for the first time on his first start after wind surgery. Mums Tipple struggled at Ayr on his handicap bow while the progressive Trumble is upped in class and raised a further 7lb having landed a recent double here. CORVAIR placed at this level at Newmarket when last in action and with a change of scenery possibly bringing improvement, he gets the vote on his debut for Bob Cowell’s yard. Papa Stour and Alexander James will find life tough in this higher grade.
