In depth

Verdict

SOPHOSC has the best form of this modest bunch having gone close over 7f in both starts in handicaps so far. An earlier defeat at Kempton, when missing out by only a head, suggests he’ll stay this far. Aisling may also improve for the longer trip but needs to if he’s to get involved while stablemates Pair of Savannas and Spring To Freedom have been beaten in plating races recently and Fanny Grand was due to run at Ffos Las yesterday.
