        Verdict

        Red Evelyn held off the attentions of Crazy Spin over a mile here last week though third-placed Book Of Verse failed to get a clear run and should finish closer. But SAUSALITO scored over track and trip at the same fixture when fitted with a visor for the first time and the headgear remains in place for this. Six Strings narrowly beat Channel Packet at Wolverhampton last month but the latter has disappointed since.
