        Verdict

        Windy Guest may be improving but a 9lb hike for winning over 6f here at the start of the month looks harsh. Reticent Angel looks a danger being lightly raced, though appeared to take a backward step last time at Nottingham. MAGICAL DUCHESS (NAP) has travelled down from Scotland to make her handicap debut. On her third at Ripon in August, she would have a solid chance on these terms. Swiss Chime is another to consider if she can recapture her best form but Wolverhampton third Awarded will need more to open her account.
