In depth

Verdict

MAGICINTHEMAKING has won twice here this year with her latest success coming over today’s trip. The runner-up has subsequently won and John Long’s mare may prove good enough again. Vincenzo Coccotti was narrowly beaten in an even lower grade than this at Lingfield with Catapult behind and Red Skye Delight has a bit to find with the selection on collateral form. Kennocha won over 6f at Lingfield earlier and Pearl Spectre won off a higher mark over track and trip back in January.
