Verdict

Mickydee ran below par on his handicap debut but has every chance at this level if running anywhere near his official rating of 80. Cosmic George looks a likely improver but so does ORIENTALISM, a runner-up at Nottingham on his debut and expected to go close in this. The latter is one of five Godolphin representatives that also includes Opening Scene and three John Gosden newcomers with Trawlerman perhaps best of them. The latter also runs another debutante in Moselle Valley, a half-sister to a Group 1 winner in Australia.
