Engrave is 5-21 around here and has won from higher marks so can never be dismissed. Richard P Smith is still a maiden after seven starts but ran well enough at Yarmouth last time to give himself a chance here. ANGELS ROC (NAP) lost his maiden tag at the 18th time of asking at Epsom then defied a 3lb rise with a six-length victory in an apprentice race at Brighton. He goes unpenalised here and will be very difficult to beat. Heatherdown Hero has yet to win but was only beaten half-a-length at Wolverhampton though the consistent Janus looks more of a threat after a very good second here last week. Alsamyah was engaged in the 7.45 at Kempton last night.
