In depth

Verdict

The Godolphin filly STORMY MOUNTAIN has the best piece of form on offer. Beaten less than a length at Kempton on her debut, she’s taken to open her account in this company. Cuckoo Clock was still beaten a long way when runner-up over 6f on her debut but should finish closer today with Kempton fifth Dame Joan another likely improver. Lily Like showed some progress at Lingfield last time while Lady De Vega, a half-sister to three winners, is preferred to Arafi of the newcomers.
